Options near Knightsbridge Barracks along Hyde Park [London]

Friends are staying at the Barracks and are looking for options in the area...perhaps an expensive dinner option as well as other good spots...wine bars, good pubs.
Thanks.

For a more expensive but not ruinous meal, a possibility would certainly be Koffmann's, in The Berkeley Hotel.

Another pub in that area is The Grenadier. It's been around for ages and is very traditional and what tourists think of as the real McCoy. It's been so long since I've eaten there that I can't comment on the food. Strangely enough, it's a little street called Wilton Mews.

Agree to The Grenadier. The Wilton Arms isn't soooo special but I just sort of like it. There is another more acclaimed pub called the Nags Head down 2 doors down from the Wilton Arms that is very traditional with lots of character and weirdos!

I was actually at the Wilton Arms last night and tucked away a few too many brews and am feeling the wrath of Lord Hopsington, Marquess of Barley-on-Wheat

I used to work just next to the Barracks...agree with the Grenadier (best Bloody Mary in London) and Nag's Head. For posh eating nearby try Zuma (Japanese) and Amaya (Indian grill) - both very trendy, and very good.

For family style Italian (but Knightsbridge style pricing) try Sal e Pepe and Signor Sassi. Haandi just opposite Harrods is a reasonable Indian too. A 10 minute walk towards High St Kensington will take them to Min Jiang in the Kensington Hotel, great dim sum, and Maggie's, which is a homecooking style buzzy bistro, bit of a London institution.

Really nice pub called the Wilton Arms at 71 Kinnerton St, LONDON SW1X 8ED. Its a secluded little mews street and very nice (though I wouldn't eat there, but thats me)!
