Dallas Forth Worth 1 Lunch
I will be traveling through the Dallas Fort Worth area and will be in town for 1 lunch. Area doesn't really matter as I have plenty of time, but I will be coming from the north West and then heading towards Houston for what it is worth.
Anything besides Mexican/Tex Mex that you would consider the best lunch in the area. Cheap, expensive, ect...
I will be just one person, so keep that in mind.
Thanks in advance.

There are several decent restaurants down by the Ft. Worth Stockyards. You can check them out at: http://www.fortworthstockyards.org/
Also, check out http://www.dallasfood.org or some of the other Dallas/Ft. Worth threads on chowhound that give a lot of suggestions.

Fred's is a dive off I 30 around Exit 11 with good burgers. You should be passing by pretty close to Fred's. Lonesome Dove Western Bistro is FW's best restaurant for lunch or dinner. It's upscale with good comfort food such as meatloaf, catfish or quail for lunch. The duck spring rolls and quail quesidilla's are outstanding. LD is located in the FW Stockyards.

re: strong95
York Street would be a fine choice but I think it's out of the OP's route. YS is 40 miles from FW.
H3 Ranch is a fun place.

re: Littleman
I work in the Stockyards, but I've never been impressed with H3. I really want to try Lonesome Dove for lunch, but lately my lunches are leftovers from home eaten at my desk.
Had lunch at Piola about a month ago and all 12 of us were pleased with our meals. It's in the FW cultural district.
