Brunch @ Prospect

DezzerSF Nov 7, 2010 10:28 PM

Today I had the most delicious egg sandwich at Prospect.

A sunnyside egg sits atop a biscuit and two portions of pork belly (one fatty, one meaty) with a bit of jam sit on the other biscuit. You assemble it into a sandwich, take a bite, and your tastebuds are in heaven. Crispiness and savoriness from the well seared unctuous pork belly, sweetness from the jam, and richness from the egg yolk.

It was so good, we ordered another one. This might be one of the top things I've eaten all year.

The Huevos Rancheros was tasty as well and don't miss the ricotta fritters either.

Their Bloody Mary is very nice as well, second to my friend's (BM connoisseur) favorite at Zuni.

A friend had that omelette as well yesterday and shared the same sentiments.
