Blue Hill at Stone Barns Help - PLEASE!!

Hi all - I have an upcoming dinner to Blue Hill at Stone Barns and I have a question regarding the dress code. Are jeans (nice ones. darker, etc), a collared shirt and a jacket acceptable? Or are slacks the way to go. Any input would be HUGE as I have dinner coming up and am not sure what direction to go in. Thanks so much - Jay

I personally would not find jeans appropriate at BHSB.

likewise, I was there the other night, and everyone was dressed quite well. I did not have a tie on and felt out of place. nice looking jeans, I would find something else in your wardrobe.

Neither do I. I'm not saying jacket and tie, but jeans are not an appropriate way to dress at any fine dining establishment.

You can absolutely wear that. My husband and my friend's husbands wear that every time we go and have always looked appropriate and comfortable.

you can wear that, jackets are prefered and most the male patrons are in suits, ties, slacks, etc. it's quite a bit of food, so if you don't have a big appetite, save it.

Been 5 times and never saw a man in jeans. Ties are unnecessary anywhere in Wchester unless you are dining at a private club.
