Finally, I've learned the correct procedure for a CH Search. Your thread is exactly what I was seeking. De Soto has standard bar food that is tasty; however, Ethiopian night Tu after 430 Prepared by the owner's wife Is the only Ethiopian food in the area $10 No, it's not Adams Morgan DC Ethiopian; but, it is a lot of fun IMO DS is the best inexpensive venue for a true West Asheville experience. One either is or is not a W Asheville person; I am.

The Tuesday menu is updated weekly on their Facebook site. I will try it out next time I am in town on a Tuesday.

I've been wondering about this, too. Just back from ATL, where we had wonderful Ethiopian fare at Desta. It is a cuisine much needed in our neck of the woods.
