Hartford Dinner with 11-12 year olds!

Any suggestions for taking a few 11-12 years olds out for my son's 12th Bday dinner in the Hartford area? We're attending a concert in Hartford and would like to stay local.

I recall a fun, eclectic place off of I-84 a few years back, en route to Hartford from NY.... it had funky decor, like Rosy Tomorrow's, with trinkets, gizmos and antiques... It had a couple of stories and a toy train that circled around between the bottom and top floors... and a pianist that played... any idea of this place?

Molly Darcy's. I think it is owned by the same people as Rosy's. It is off either exit 17 or 18 of I-84, I can't remember which.

If you're going to the XL Center, Black Eyed Sally's is a good suggestion. If you prefer Italian, Vito's is also within walking distance and serves pizza as well as Italian.

How about Black Eyed Sally's on Asylum? They have a kids menu and their regular dinner menu includes items 12 year old boys would probably like such as ribs, quesadillas, sandwiches. Adults would probably be happy there as well.

Great suggestion for that group! I second the nomination for Black Eyed Sally's.
