Where to Find Something like Zucco: Le French Diner

I went to Zucco: Le French Diner a little while back and had a delightful time. It is tiny (just 4 tables and a bar), the service was great and the food tasty. So I am now trying to see if there are other little and hidden gems around the city that I might like.

Does anyone have a favorite little haunt where you feel like you are really finding something that is just too small a space for the crowds to find?

I was there in August and the food was great. They had a new employee running the place and he was very sweet and treated us so well.

they are still open and the food is the same. Very unfortunate about Zucco as he was a nice guy, but he didn't do any of the cooking. The chef is a Mexican guy and I believe he is still the chef.

The place always had Zucco, a bus boy and the chef

I've never been to Zucco .. it's probably too small and too hidden for me to find.
Anyway, you can try La Sirene ... it's small but na ot so-hidden gem anymore, and the food and service rocks.
