Need recommendation for a restaurant for Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg.

  • 4

We are vacationing in Gatlinburg the week of Thanksgiving and want to make reservations for the holiday. We'd like to hear any recommendations any of you have to offer, rather than just picking a place "out of hat", so to speak.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. It might be too late since reservations are probably mandatory.....but having said that, I would shoot for The Old Mill in PF or Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg. Good Luck!

    1. Most of the restaurants offer a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Also you can order from the regular menu. Calhouns is open for TG and it's wonderful. It will be busy so call for reservations. The Apple Barn takes reservations and has a huge traditional spread. It can be very crowded. If you are coming into Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge take the by-pass and go into Gatlinburg from the National Park side. Take this route and park in lots behind the Space Needle.

There is a Wal-Mart and Kroger in Pigeon forge that offer prepared meals but Calhoun's is more fun. Mamma's is a new restaurant that just opened and they will be serving TG.
