I will be in this area, near the traffic circle tomorrow and would appreciate suggestions for both breakfast and lunch. How's Haven Gastropub which I found on beeradvocate.com? Anything else that is a can't miss? Thanks!

I think Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen would be worth the visit.

Yes yes yes on Filling Station.... get a slice of the pumpkin pie! It's got a cookie crust and a thin layer of..... something? Marzipan? between the crust and custard filling. It's sublime, and just the right season for it....

We were here with Mrs. O's brother and family a couple of years ago, hitting the antique malls after a good lunch at Chateau Brodard. Since we'd had our fill of fancy stuff we wound up doing burgers and fries etcetera at Filling Station and enjoyed it thoroughly. I have been wanting to go back there at some point, so it's good to see what else is there.

The Filling Station used to be my weekend breakfast spot. Standard stuff, but good and filling. I liked the chili and eggs and the french toast. If you like to pretend you are eating healthy, there is Rutabegorz (don't know why it does not pop up, just north from the Filling Station), which has huge salads and wraps. The other menu items I don't really care for, but it is a big menu.

Felix's is right there on the Circle, pretty good Cuban food with lots of outdoor seating. I like Haven a lot, but they don't like taking special requests, so if you have a picky eater, they may be unhappy.

I had a nice dinner at Francoli Gourmet Restaurant a while back, and would recommend that for dinner, but I am not too sure about lunch. Again, it is not popping up, but it is on Glassel just south of the Circle, on the corner closest to Felix.
