Seeking locavore simple regional fare

Visiting DC for the weekend. Haven't been in donkey's years. Last trip--could it be 15 years ago?--loved Nora's. Interested in a place that serves unfussy, delicious, seasonal, local food. Not sure how many free dinners we'll have (traveling there for a conference). But will definitely have a couple breakfasts and a lunch or two.

You should definitely consider going to Equinox. Chef Todd English focuses on Mid-Atlantic cuisine---everything is fresh, local, and delicious.

Another option would be West End Bistro. It's open for lunch and they tend to change their market some what with the seasons.
