Pride of Szeged Paprika

To make an authentic Hungarian or Bavarian style Goulash or Paprika Chicken, Hungarian Hot Paprika is essential. While the Spanish hot paprika is readily available at Sobey's, the hot paprika has remained elusive...until I spotted it at Pete's Frootique in Bedford. Price-wise, it is cheaper than the smoked hot paprika from Spain. It has a heat like cayenne, but it takes a minute to explode on the tongue. It is also a more complex flavour.
