Near the Palladium

Any good restaurants near The Palladium for dinner before the Elton John concert?

As it's a few blocks from the Pantages, if you do a search for Pantages you'll find a lot of choices. In the immediate area is Magnolia, Bowery, Fabioulus, Tender Greens, Bodega Wine Bar, Chipotle, Baja Fresh, Hungry Cat, Cafe Was and The Waffle, which is actually the closest. There is also a bar across the street from the Palladium called The Well which serves bar food.

Are the The Palladium and Pantages the same venue? Or did you type Pantages by mistake, in your first sentence?

Different places. Pantages is on Hollywood Blvd. and the Palladium is on Sunset Blvd (Elton John & Leon Russell will be performing live in concert at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday 11/3/2010 8:00 PM. )

I took it to mean: "As the Palladium is a few blocks away from the Pantages, searching for places near the Pantages will give you a lot of choices."

The two theaters are about a third of a mile apart.

One of the other LA board posters who I have a lot of respect for (Mollyomormon) has recommended the Mercantile LA http://themercantilela.com/ several times over the last few months. Not too far at all (a half mile or so) from the Palladium.
