DTW: Breakfast in Ann Arbor
I'm going out for breakfast today after voting and am wracking my brain for any decent weekday breakfast places in Ann Arbor. Your thoughts?

Let me see if I can compare the "Marie" chain to Zingerman's with an analogy....
Kia is to Porsche as Cafe Marie is to Zingerman's.
You're welcome. :-

No - see also Toledo, Perrysburgh, Sylvania Ohio.
To the best of my knowledge the Scrambler Marie franchises spawned from the originals in Toledo.

Where I went was Bell's Diner and it was really bad! I was looking forward to ordering Korean food and the Bi Bim Bop was terrible. Hubby ordered eggs over easy and they got it wrong 2 times...brought scrambled twice. Yikes!

Been to Zingmerman's Roadshouse twice for breakfast - it wouldn't be my go to choice. The huevos racheros were really bland. The things that the Roadhouse does well are cocktails and barbecue...unfortunately I wasn't in the market for a cocktail yesterday morning. (upon review of today's election results this morning, I sure could have used a bloody mary!)

I've been to ZR five times. Twice for breakfast, one lunch, two dinners. Nothing special
was ever served/experienced.The omlettes at Cafe Marie had much better flavors than what ZR served me.

I have not been here in a very long time; but I enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Marie:
