Himalayan restaurant in New Haven?
A friend just called me up and asked if I wanted to go to the new Himalayan restaurant in New Haven. My response was sure and what? There's a Himalayan restaurant in New Haven? He says they do Tibetan food too.
Anyone know anything about this?

Hot damn--those momos are right on their home page. Mmmmmm. I wanna go!!! What'djahave, Niki?
OTOH, it's kinda too bad some of the rest of the menu doesn't have some of the items I was used to ordering at Little Tibet--seems more Indian than Tibetan...still, I'd get there for good momos alone. ;)

I'm sitting at Bradley, as I type this, waiting to hop a plane. I'll be in the Chicago area until after Thanksgiving, so I can't run out and try this place for a few weeks. But by now, I'm pretty pumped for it. Oh yum.
I'll have to console myself with something, something, when I am in Chicago. I imagine I'll be able to find a little tidbit or two to sustain myself, don't you think? Heading over to the Chi Town boards now.
But as soon as I get back, going to make a beeline for momos!

I know nothing, but read with great interest. I miss Little Tibet (in Middletown) bigtime...yes, there is still a Little Tibet, but now only a furniture store and not a restaurant. Let us know what you find out--last I queried, LT was the only game in the whole Land of Steady Habits. Will there be momos? Mmmmmmm.
