<content>I have an old friend from Boston coming to town, and I need some fun places for food and frolic in hollywood area on a Friday night guys night out. We are early 40's and looking for casual food and barhopping without the attitude.

We plan to ditch the car beforehand so nothing too far out via taxi

Thanks!

<content>And right down the road, on 3rd near La Jolla, is El Carmen - an uber-cool Mexican wrestling theme bar with the best 'ritas in town.
Keep trekking down 3rd (walking distance) closer to La Cienega, and you'll find St. Nick's bar - a PERFECT guys night out spot.

Happy pub crawling :)
