Paris dining on Sunday
My husband and I will travel to France next month but only staying in Paris for one day. It'll be on a Sunday and I see most restaurants close on that day of the week.
Our ideal restaurant will serve food like foie grass, casoullet, confit. We have checked La Regalade, L'ami Jean, Phamphlet but all of them are closed on Sundays. Bill around 100-150 euros total.
We'll be staying near the Louvre/Opera area but willing to move if the restaurant is worthy. Any sugestions?
Sundays are tought, but here are a few suggestions: ALLARD in the 6th, le TRAIN BLEU in the Gare de Lyon - or check the brasseries under the FLO umbrella (flobrasseries.com) . Good luck!
Just go to Cafe de la Paix, you have one day, make it memorable. So it's overpriced...you are visiting a part of French history; and they do have menus at somewhat reasonable prices.
