Some of my favs. were missing, but then there were some restaurants, at which we have not dined, so who knows?

I see some restaurants, that do get rave reviews here, so they should be great. My missing few, might well have been replaced by worthy restaurants, and by more contemporary tastes.

Given the project of coming up with a "Top 10," I'd probably pick 5 from that list, and then add 5 of my choices, which might not beat out the remainder of that list - now.

I agree. 5 or 6 of them would be in my top 10. The only one I haven't been to of the 10, is del Porto. Cochon and Gautreau's wouldn't make my top 20.
