Where to order a turkey

American Thanksgiving is coming up, and I'll have family in town. The brined and roasted turkey is a must-have. Can you tell me from whom I should order a turkey? I would prefer for it to be local and large (about 18-20 pounds). The only other requirement is that it be delicious. Thanks!

I've ordered turkeys from them about 2-3 times in the past 6-7 years. I also order ham from them, either for Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas.

So I went with Windsor Meats, Caufield Village (I think that's the town). I got a 20 pound turkey, not an easy order to fill. The bird turned out amazing! I brined it for 24 hours in salt, sugar, water, and Wild Turkey bourbon (ironically), and high roasted it for 5 hours. It was juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender. We get gorgeous ones from Steve at Tenderland Meats on Granville Island for Xmas -- all free rangey and plump :-). I've never tried to order one for US TG but deffo worth a call. You can specify the size you want.
