food trucks near UCLA

hey everyone,

i'm having a hard time trying to find a listing of the around UCLA. only criterion is within walking distance of UCLA. I know kogi drops by the new ronald reagan med center on some weekday evenings, and [what i think is] a run-of-the-mill truck parks in the maintenance lot near structure 8/ronald reagan close to 7 am on weekdays...

any help in compiling a list would be appreciated!

There are usually 2-3 food trucks at UCLA ~ Mon-Fri.

Is Sawtelle walkable for you? 'Cuz there's a ton of trucks parked there every night of the week.

+1 on Sawtelle, but the local brick & mortars do just about everything within their power to hassle the trucks. They call parking enforcement, the health dept, etc. We tried to sit down and enjoy some food from those trucks, and as soon as we pulled apart and sat down on some stools provided by one of the trucks, a lady came out and told the truck owner that providing seating to his customers was illegal. Regardless of how illegal it was, like in other foot-traffic areas, the trucks are not receiving a warm welcome.
