Anthony's Pizza in Carle Place Long Island

Anyone know anything about this pizza place about to open up on Monday in Carle Place. Hawking coal oven pizza makes me think Totonnos in Brooklyn or at least Salvatores in Port Washington or Grimaldis in Garden City.

A friend and I tried Anthony's for the first time last week. We loved all of the fresh ingredients! We also couldn't get enough of the crispy crust from the coal fired oven. We'll definitely be going back there soon.

I went to Anthony's over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and the coal burning oven really gave the pizza a nice crispy crust. I would recommend Anthony's.

That pretty much sums it up. Just moved back to LI after living in Ft Lauderdale for 5 years. Anthony's is fine, I'd go as far to say it's good. Definitely not better than Grimaldi's or Eddie's in NHP. I really don't get why any pizza chain opens in this area when there are so many fantastic pizza/Italian places around. It's always perplexed me.

I was at Eddie's on Saturday and loved it but it is not for everyone. I have been to Anthony's in Florida and it was very good but with all the pizza choices on Long Island, I agree with you, perplexing indeed.
