I had the Vietnamese Tacos at Cheesecake Factory and loved loved loved them. Now i want to make them...where can I make ready made Mantou (the Asian steamed dough/bun) in Orange County
What is a Vietnamese Taco? As for the steamed buns, you can get them at just about any Chinese supermarket, such as those mentioned by Ubergeek. They usually have a number of varieties in the one of their refrigerated food sections.
It's the Cheesecake Factory version of Taiwanese Guo Bao, or Momofuku's pork belly sliders ...
As described on their menu:
"Steamed Asian Buns with Roasted Pork, Cucumbers, Carrots and Onion with Chiles, Cilantro and Sesame Seeds"
Any 99 Ranch. There are two in Irvine, one in Westminster and one in Anaheim.
