Your favorite supermarket chocolate brand.

I've tried all(almost all) and I like Lindts dark chocolate bars the best. I specially like the one with sea salt. I think it's overall a nice balanced chocolate with enough complexity and smoothness.
What's your favorite?

Lindt is the best in supermarkets but Valrhona is widely available in Manhattan and is better. Michel Cluizel is better still and not hard to find in the better grocery stores. Michel Cluizel's Los Ancones and Mangaro are what I usually buy when I don't want to spend a lot of money. Zabar's at 80th and broadway has the lowest price and Eli's store on 3rd avenue and 80s is highest. Food Emporium on 3rd avenue and 70th has the best chocolate collection. Dean and Deluca unfortunately seems to get worse and worse over the years.

Lindts. i've tried all Lindts ranges but only eat the 99%. there are about 2 dozen bars of the 99% in my cupboard at any given time. i'm eating a square with my espresso as we speak.

For cost, hands down, for me, it's E. Wedel. I can get the 100g bar for 69c regularly. I'm more a fan of their milk choc than their dark.

For supermarket stuff Lindt is full of win (partial to the milk chocolate one.)
I love Côte d'Or, but not all supermarkets carry it.
