Fado in Huntington Village NY? Anyone been
This is the new Portugese place that opened up in the Rio Brazilian space on New Street (next to Sri Thai). Has anyone checked this out yet?

Walked by Fado last night after eating elsewhere; there were people waiting on the sidewalk to get in. It's very small.

Not last night, there wasn't. I just want to add that though I didn't send it back, and I brought most of it home due to size, the ribeye was overcooked. I ordered med/rare and got med closer to med/well. Had it not been mostly at least pink, I'd have sent it back.

It's definitely worth a try, food is good, and both food and wine are excellent values. Food won't blow you away, but it's very cozy, friendly and the food is good and almost obscenely plentiful. I was literally embarrassed to have a brontosaurus sized ribeye delivered in front of me tonight. 3/4 of it is in my fridge right now. The grilled calamari appetizer was smoky and very tender, the family style house salad has a very nice, light vinaigrette on it.
