Looking for a Venue for a Christmas Party, Summerhill to St. Claire Area along Yonge

I am organizing a Christmas party and need a room at a reasonably nice place in this area for about 20-25 people. I;ve tried Globe Earth but their room is too small. Need something of similar quality.

Any suggestions?

Grano has a nice covered courtyard space that works well. They have the requisite heaters that make it shirt-only comfortable, and it is sufficiently separate from the restaurant that it is private. Great for family style dining platters.

My favourites of late for private dining in the area have been Mistura and Malena. Both offer great rooms, with excellent food and service. Spuntini also offers a space for that many, but not totally private.

Macallan: Excellent suggestions for next year! Malena might do the trick....do you know if Scaramouche has a private room?

Didier has a space at the back that might work (although it's not a private room - just sort of separated from the main area) - and another one at the front (to the left as you enter). I'm not a fan of the food there, but it's shown resilience so others' opinions must differ.

Jingles/Spiga has a room downstairs that's private - right size, but their food is really bad (IMO).

The Abbott On The Hill Pub has a room upstairs that I think you can rent privately - but again I don't think much of the food (I sense a recurring theme here!).

That's all I can think of.

Won't eat at Spiga, already tried Monk's Table, not available...will try Spiga. Quince I hadn't thought of. Thanks!

There's the side room at Terroni, though not sure if that's too casual a room. The other option is to have it at "To Go", the restaurant/catering spot at yonge and Shaftesbury. A lot
of people use that space for catered private events.

Thanks! This is very constructive! The problem we have is that there are really only a few dates that work, I have 20-25 people to entertain and its VERY close to Christmas. Basically, its too darn late to book anything fancy. We've decided to hold the party at my boss's house (he lives in the neighborhood) and get caterer. NEXT year, I'm going to start looking in August. I was asked very late to organize this otherwise I would have booked a room month's ago.

Six months is always a good lead time for long-lead publishing and booking Christmas parties! ;-)

If you're willing to go a little bit father north, Quince could be a great spot for your party.
