Coq au Vin

Does anyone have the BEST recipe for Coq au Vin? I have all the ingredients, just trying to figure out which recipe to use. Thanks!

      Perfect. Thank you, Marge! I am boiling the red wine now to marinate the chicken. I won't be able to marinate overnight, but hopefully a few hours will be okay! This looks delicious.

        Why would you BOIL wine for the marinade? (or for any other reason, except syrup).

          In this case it's apparently to infuse the marinade with seasonings. Seems reasonable. Recipe looks fetching.

            You don't BOIL the wine, you bring to a boil, then turn down to a simmer for a few minutes to infuse the other flavorings. This is a very delicious recipe. If you are adverse to the boil, don't...

              Perhaps my comment didn't read correctly. I simply brought it to boil, turned the heat down and then simmered for a few minutes. Figured the seasonings would infuse throughout with this step. Smells great!
