New Buffet (STP)

If the signage is correct, a buffet is going in on the NW corner of University and Marion. Named University Buffet. Anyone know antthing about it?

It was in last Thursday's PiPress. It's a Hmong buffet set to open Dec 1. The owner is Eric Guo, who owned Bon's Buffet and Westfire Grille in Rochester and former owner of an Asian buffet in Brooklyn Park and owner of Super Buffet Mongolian Grill in Fargo, N.D. It will be open for lunch and dinner and serve a mix of Chinese food and sushi as well as some seafood at dinner.

Drove by today at noon and there was still newspaper covering the windows, but I did see workman there. Looks like it should be soon.

Not much of an update, but I went by today and windows free of all paper. The walls inside seemed unpainted, or at least undecorated. Still looked rough.

Not that I'm watching the place with bated breath, but the opposite. I glance with longing and regret. I'm just not an Asian foodie. What's one more Asian buffet tacked on to a list that has a plethora of sad buffets?
