Really great One of a kind Coneys.

While you won't find a buch of competition in the area. (AS IF) These Coneys and this place has been around for over 60 years that I've been around. My mom worked there before I was born and my granddad spoke of the place from years before. The same greek people own it although the men are long gone, one of the ladies albeit up there is still around the last time I was there several years ago.

The dogs are custom made for them in PA and the chili is so fine you could spinkle it. The onions make the deal and also are super fine.Although nothing like a Nathans or other original you might know, they are in a class by themselves and I think there great.

I grew up in Johnstown but rarely get back since my parents are gone. When we go it is a must stop at Coney Island for a hot dog. The chili and onions taste different than any hot dog place I have ever been. The old ladies who work there add to the atmosphere. I spent many a 2 AM in that place.

Hi count, I have been all over, NY,LA,Chicago,FL,WA, etc and it is a totally different taste. Plus it's special because it's home. I hope somehow they will be around forever. While I know thousands have tried and like them, it is rare to hear from anyone who is a patron. Unfortunately I can't travel anymore so my supply is over but Anyone who enjoys a special dog and hits the area should definitely try this special treat.
