Cocktails/Dinner before/after the theater

I'm seeing a show at the Sondheim tonight... 43rd and 7th. What's a good spot to grab a drink beforehand? A good liquor/drink menu would be ideal (bourbons, whiskeys, interesting cocktails, etc).

Any recommendations for a cool and quick post show dinner would be great too... anywhere that a vegetarian wouldnt have too hard a time.
