Asheville or Charlotte for Thanksgiving Dinner?

Does anybody have recommendations for Thanksgiving dinner in Asheville or Charlotte? I'd love names of restaurants serving good meals, and also restaurants providing "to go" Thanksgiving dinners.
Last year we went to the Grove Park Inn (Asheville) for their Thanksgiving buffet. Food was fine, but it was in a huge banquet hall, very crowded, busy, loud....not the warm ambiance I'm looking for.
Also took out the "to go" dinner from Merts in Charlotte one year. Learned that deep fried turkey served a few days after it was fried is not very good.

  1. North Harbor Club and Restaurant is open for TG. It's 20 miles N of Charlotte on Lake Norman off I 77 at Exit 30. Call to be sure though.

Mimosa Grill in Charlotte, NC will also offer TG dinner.

Call Laurey's Catering in Asheville, NC for outstanding take out TG dinner. Dine at home or in your resort room without any work at all. You won't be disappointed.
