hey all!

my husband and i will be in nyc tomorrow just for the day - we are planning to walk around the village and soho, shop, and have lunch. i would love a recommendation for a great lunch spot. we were thinking about prune, otto or eataly (which i know is not in that area).

can you recommend somewhere great for lunch? thanks so much!

  1. If you're going to be in the West Village / Soho area, Prune and especially Eataly are out of your way. Otto is a good choice. If you can spend a little more money, I'd actually do Lupa instead.

For a weekday lunch in the West Village / Soho area, I would go to places that are typically mobbed for dinner, like Spotted Pig, Pearl Oyster Bar, Balthazar, or Blue Ribbon Bakery. You could also try Keste, which can have very long waits for dinner.
