Thanksgiving Weekend / Child-Friendly / Upscale Suggestions?

Hello -

My wife, daughter, and I moved from Manhattan to Westchester (Larchmont) two years ago, and decided it would be fun to get a hotel room in Manhattan on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend (we'll be at the W Times Square).

As we're already (embarrassingly) a bit removed from the restaurant scene, we're looking for suggestions for an upscale, midtown/uptown place that a well-behaved five-year-old (and we) would be comfortable at. (Downtown is less desirable, as we still tend to come into the city and frequent village/soho places...and we're looking for something different this weekend)
