Thanksgiving dinner in Santa Barbara
We're from the Bay Area but want to meet our daughter (No. Hollywood) for Thanksgiving dinner somewhere in the middle, then send her home Friday and have a romantic spa weekend. We're thinking Santa Barbara or thereabouts and need a recommendation for a nice place that serves a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Recs for a nice spa/resort would be appreciated, too!

We always go to Montecito for Thanksgiving and we enjoy the San Ysidro Ranch and dine at the Stonehouse.
Expedia has the Bacara & Ojai resort for under $300..Biltmore was around $500 but has a lovely Thanksgiving dinner.
Make sure you get those croissants at Renaud's and a burger at Cold Springs Tavern!›2 Replies -
For years -- decades, maybe -- we had our family Thanksgiving at the Biltmore. Now it's down to me and my sister, but I'd heartily recommend the place. It's seaside, too.

Great list for Thanksgiving, thanks for finding this, JalamaMama.
Louie's at the Upham Hotel is another romantic, but homey setting for dinner. http://www.santabarbara.com/dining/re...

Our favorite family Thanksgiving place is Cold Springs Tavern on the San Marcos Pass. Historic stage coach stop, old wooden floors, stone fireplace, a creaky old cabin in the woods. Chowhound likes us to stick with dining suggestions only. http://www.coldspringtavern.com/
