All-day breakfast near a metro stop?
Hey all,
I'm meeting someone for lunch this weekend, and I need to find a diner that serves breakfast all-day. My friend is coming from Metro Center, so something on the red/orange/blue lines would be great, and near a metro stop so he doesn't have to do a lot of walking around a new city. Tips?

I'm pretty sure the Silver Diner has breakfast all day. I'm a fan of their eggs benedict (big, homemade english muffins), and they seemed to have revamped the menu a bit and have started annotating their local ingredients. It's by the Clarendon metro on the orange line.

I second Silver Diner. It's only about two blocks from the Clarendon metro, definitely serves breakfast all day, and has a nice choice to offer (had the sweet potato and cranberry pancakes and the crab cakes benedict there. yum). It's also not expensive.
Plus, since it's in Arlington, you might be able to avoid some of the Stewart/Colbert rallygoers.-

Second the sub-par quality of the food and coffee at Silver Diner, particularly their "heart smart" meals.
Both the Tune Inn and Ted's Bulletin offer all-day breakfast near the Capitol South and Eastern Market Metros, respectively.

Diner with all-day breakfast? Waffle Shop, across from Ford's Theater and a block from Metro Center 11th Street exit:. If you look it up and see it listed as closed, don't pay attention. They just moved a few doors down from the original spot:

Well, the Colbert/Stewart rallies are this weekend, so beware of that.
I'm not the biggest breakfast brunch person, but there are threads on those. Orange and I believe Blue lines take you to Pentagon City which has a very convenient bus (OMG - I said Bus) down Columbia Pike to Bob and Ediths which is definite classic diner fare.
