Boudin in Dallas

Does anyone have a suggestion for good Boudin in Dallas? I usually ship it in from Lafayette, but at $40-$60 shipping for 10 lbs is getting to be too much. Any help would be appreciated.

Haven't found good boudin in D yet. But Hebert's Specialty Meats (from Maurice) has a location at the Tyler / Lindale exit on I-20 about 85 miles east of here. Closed Sundays.

Bayou Market boudin is ok, a bit meatier and drier than i like, but the spices were balanced nicely The Old Town Meat Market, also in Lewisville, makes boudin but I haven't tried it yet.
I came to this site looking for chicory and cracklings - anybody seen these in the north Dallas area?

I've seen a lot of Boudin sausage for sale in Dallas' markets but, the first ingredient listed is always, "rice". So, I never buy it.

Baby Back Shak on Akard St. has it. You can get it as a plate or a side item.

Bayou Market in Lewisville sells it. Can't tell you how good it is, I haven't taken it out of my freezer yet.

Good Luck, I've never found any Boudin in the dfw area that wasn't 90% rice. I hope you find some

I am guessing that Cajun Smokehouse has gone away. I have been trying to call them for a while without success. There web page is gone.
