Pigs head on westside?

Where can I buy a whole pig's head on or near to the westside?

  1. Not exactly westside, but you might try the Koreatown Galleria or 99 Ranch in Van Nuys.

    99 Ranch
    17713 Pioneer Blvd, Artesia, CA

    1. It seems to me that if you arrange with the butcher at your market, he can have a head delivered with the store's regular order from the slaughterhouse. Why not try it?

      1. Now I want to open up a pub and call it the "Pigs Head" thanks for that. ;-D>

        1. Any of the larger grocery stores that cater to a Latino clientele will either have them at the butcher counter or can order one for you. BTW, the "cabeza" is used to make a dish called Lechon,in which
the head is seasoned, roasted and "pulled".

Bless you heart, CR. I just saw pig head at a Latino market yesterday. Now I know what to do with it. Very cool.

          2. you may want to check with the butcher counter at top valu market in mar vista/culver city.

Or across the Street at Carniceria Sanchez

Thanks. Special ordered it, 1 day notice at top valu market in culver city. Ask for Tony in the meat department if you're in the market for a pig's head.
