Skylight Chicken?

Took some friends to skylight for barbecue and to my amazement they now offer barbecued chicken on Thursday and Friday. We were there Monday, so I have not been able to try yet. Has anyone had their chicken? The barbecue was superb, as good as I've had recently

I got over to try it tonight. Pretty good, but nothing special. They put a different sauce on it that was kind of interesting- sweet at first, but with a sour/mildly spicy finish. I prefer the barbecue chicken from B's or El Azador, though.

The barbecue was *really* good tonight, though. Corn bread, too.

I love their corn bread. My ex-MIL made a similar type, and Skylight is the first taste of that sort I've had in many years. The cornbread will be why I'll make the drive.

I love it too, but it does seem to be in the love it/hate it category. If you like the cornbread at Skylight, you should try it at Bum's, which is just down the street. It is in the same style, and even better than that at Skylight. Just make sure you get your barbecue at Skylight.

Is Bum's in the downtown area? If so, we spotted it after our Skylight meal when we were driving around.

Yes, that's it. If you're coming from Pete Jones, it's on the left almost immediately after you turn left onto 3rd St.
