How to dress for Dino

shercooks Oct 26, 2010 12:29 PM

I have reservations with friends Sat evening at Dino and wondered if the dress there is casual, upscale or what. Any recommendations?

I would say anything goes...but most people there will probably be on the more casual or business casual side. It's more or less a very good neighborhood restaurant so people don't get too dressed up.

I actually wore nice dark jeans with a nice shirt and dressier shoes (i.e. the "smart casual" uniform) and didn't even feel like I was getting away with anything. OTOH, if you wanted to dress up more than that, I don't think it would be inappropriate either.

Definitely more on the casual side than on the upscale side. You might feel under-dressed in jeans, but you could get away with wearing them.

Dean, the owner, will be wearing a Hawai'ian shirt, so you needn't be too worried about your outfit.
