Authentic mexican cuisine

Can anyone recommend a great place for a fabulous burrito or torta in Atlanta or suburbs? Restaurant or fast food.

I don't think that Nuevo Laredo does tortas. Not sure about burritos. I think of it as a cross between authentic and Tex-Mex.

Lately, my wife picked up takeout from Taqueria Los Rayos, and I've enjoyed El Rey del Taco the couple of times I've been.

    2. Taqueria de Los Hermanos in Tucker, they have a few locations... They are THE BEST!!!

      1. Many of the taquerias and carnicerias around the metro area have very good burritos, tacos, and tortas. These are prepared for a primarily Mexican clientele. I ate at the Sandy Springs location of El Taco Veloz on Sunday with a group of seventeen. Our group eats at various international restaurants on a monthly basis. El Taco Veloz was very well received. I had four tacos - each with a different meat. Several ordered various burritos, which I have always enjoyed at past visits.

Carniceria San Miguel serves meals in the back of their grocery on Holcomb Bridge in Roswell. Our group ate there about a year and a half ago. It is also consistently good - but I have not had their tacos. I usually order a torta (sandwich) or burrito.

Supermercado Jalisco is another grocery and they have several locations. Their burritos and tortas have always been enjoyed. They also do tacos, but it has been quite a long time since I last ordered any. Their Smyrna grocery and my own store were in the same shopping center, so I enjoyed meals there many times before I retired.
