Arnauds or Mr. B's for Thanksgiving dinner?
Hi all - help much appreciated - the title says it all - what's the verdict? Thanks, Lvk
Even if both were firing on all 8 cylinders I just think they are totally different. hard to compare, seems to me. But, has anyone local been to Arnaud's lately? I sure haven't. I am waiting to hear how the death of Archie has been handled and have zero info on it (I have not tried very hard--well, at all...I just figure I will hear something sometime.) I keep hoping to run into a friend who used to take clients there many years ago when, in his opinion,it was the best deal in town. But we have not crossed paths in awhile and I may have to sue him to get an opinion.
I'm always disappointed with Mr. B's. Guess I compare it to the likes of Cochon, Herbsaint, Upperline, Brigtsens etc.. If I had to pick from your two choices I would go with Arnauds. Ideally I would take a short cab ride to the CBD and dine at Cochon.
