I was in BB&B yesterday and came across the Fontignac brand. I have never heard of this brand, it said on the lid that it's made in France. I've been looking at the LC 5 qt oval, but the Fontignac prices are closer to my budget. Has anyone had any experience with this brand. Is it worth it or should I just save up for the LC?

  1. It's part of Staub: http://www.staub-fontignac.com/index....

    1. MrsT, if you search this board for references to Fontignac and Staub Basix, you'll find several other comments on this topic.

Thanks all, funny thing is I totally missed it in reading other posts I have saved "for research". That shows me for posting while exhausted.
