New Zealand Chocolate in Minneapolis

Hello, my wife and I are coming to the city for a Timberwolves and Viking weekend in November. We have a dear friend from New Zealand that hasn't been home in a while and we were hoping to find some New Zealand chocolate in the Minneapolis area for a Christmas present. We are from a very small and remote Northern Ontario Canada town (it's a 1 hour drive to Walmart even!) so we could always order direct from New Zealand but we thought if anyone knew of a shop in the Twin Cities, well, we could at least give it a shot.

We're specifically looking for Cadbury's Jaffas, Whittaker's Peanut Slab Original, and Whittaker's Peanut Slab Hazelnut Slab.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We can't wait to share your amazing city with you!

  1. Aw, that is so kind of you! I know Irish on Grand carries a lot of Cadbury's, but apparently not the kind you specifically seek. I hope you find exactly what you seek, but, if not, perhaps this would be a touch closer to home for your friend?

    1. I looked for these at Byerly's in St. Louis Park and I found Cadbury Jaffas. Link to the company website so you can call and see if other stores are better stocked. Byerly's will be a better bet than Lunds.

Well done! I did look online at my local Lunds and it didn't come up as they do carry some Cadbury. I wish there were a way to check the stock off all of the stores at once, rather than just one specific store at a time. But, I didn't know the trick that the Byerly's would be better stocked for this sort of thing than Lunds as a general rule...

      2. I think Holy Land on Central has a pretty good selection of Cadbury. You could call and check.

        1. I would definitely give Sugar Sugar Candy a call. They can track down just about anything and special order!

They also have a facebook page.
