Similar to Bouchon for dinner?

My family of 4 will be in town weekend before Thanksgiving. Our previous two trips we had one of our dinners at Bouchon-DH and kids want to go back, or at least to a similar restaurant. Any recommendations for similar food/cost? Thanks!

Agreed about Bouchon...always good. Mon Ami Gabi has decent food, I enjoyed my meal however the waiter I happened to have (not sure if it like this for all waiter) had a horrendous fake french accent that got increasingly annoying throughout the night. It was quite funny.

There is a similar restaurant in the Paris Hotel, but the name escapes me at the moment. What doesn't escape me is my recommendation that you stay with Bouchon. Always a winner.

Do you mean Mon Ami Gabi? We had dinner there on one of our trips 5 years ago, and it is kind of similar, but you are right that Bouchon tops it.

Yep, that is it. But Bouchon has better specials, good oysters all the time, good wines by the glass and the "floating island" dessert (I won't try to spell it in Italian) is on my Top 10 eternally list. Stay with the winnar!
