I have had some great corn bread at Clementine. However, it is not always available. Definitely call and check.

When you visit Orange County, stop in at Katella Deli (near the Los Alamitos Race Track) - their cornbread is really good, better than Marie Calendar's according to my hubby. I and lots of our friends agree.

That's assuming you like it on the sweet and tender side, and not the southern style which has no sweetness and is more like a biscuit or coarse muffin texture than a cake-like bread.

          I love Gelson's cornbread.

I have yet to find corn bread in LA that is acceptable.

I detest "sweet" cornbread and don't like dry cornbread. I now make it myself.

I wish I could buy the cornbread at Bandera. It's really fantastic.

Their cornbread is the best! Love it. Don't you think they would sell it a la carte?
