Need Help with some dinner suggestions for early November trip. I'll be with my wife and college age daughter and a few of her friends. Cabs and T for transportation.

We've had great meals over the past two years at: O Ya, Craigie Street, TW Food, Flour Bakery, Scampo.

Fairly adventurous diners and love smaller chef driven restaurants in particular with good energy and personality in the room (TW, Craigie...). Having said that, we loved Scampi despite the larger size and really loud crowd.

A few names that I have noticed but not married to any of these: Pigalle, Ten Tables, Hungry Mother, Estragon. Would love a whisper of the next few restaurants/chefs that we'll all be writing about in earnest in 2011.

Ok Boston Hounds, which 3 restaurants do you send us for three great but different types of dinners and all price points are fine as well as type of cuisine. Thanks in advance.

Coppa for creative Italian small plates.
Erbaluce for chef driven, intimate dining with locally sourced ingredients.
Towne for cuisine and atmosphere similar to Scampo.

What about chinese? fish in the tanks restaurants in particular in chinatown as well as Mulan for eel in Cambridge, Sichuan Gourmet in Brookline and accessible by subway, Golden Garden in Belmont - you need a taxi

I agree with For Italian, I would add Rialto for Italian food in Harvard Square or Tamarind Bay for Indian food though I would avoid the buffet; I avoid all Indian buffets.

You should try Neptune for seafood.
