Best Fennel Sausage in Los Angeles or online

I'm looking for a really good fennel sausage. I had a good one at the bay area Farmer's market a few years ago and haven't been able to find it. I'm open to online sites or local sites. I live in the Los Angeles area. Thanks.

Claro's makes good sausage as does A-1 in San Pedro, get their Sicilian that is coarse grind!

The Italian with fennel at Monte Carlo on Magnolia in Burbank is pretty darn good IMO, but not quite up to the standards of that at Mozza.

Thank you mnosyne ! Ever since I had the pizza at Mozza with the fennel sausage, I have been on a mission to find that great sausage. Given that her partner is Mario Batali and his father owns Salumi, my mission has been accomplished. Will definitely order from there.

Not sure this helps ... but Huntington Meats makes her ground meat mixture that is sold there daily. You may want to see if they make , or can make, her sausage mixture as well. Their meats are extraordinary.

Have you tried Wurstkuche in downtown LA? They have a pretty big selection of sausages, but it's a bar/restaurant, not a market or supermarket. You might want to call them to see what they have.
