Papa Goose (Melbourne)
We had a dinner I really enjoyed at Papa Goose. Before we went, we were thinking of doing the degustation/tasting menu, but it turns out they don't have one, so we created our own. I thought the service was nice and friendly. I like how we had an amuse and a palate cleanser. The charcuterie plate was delicious. We split an entree and it was still too much food. The sweetbreads were cooked well. Bookings seem to be required, but if you are willing to eat at 6 pm or 9 pm, then it isn't too difficult.

My mandarin cake dessert was a nice way to the end the meal. I would go back, but there are so many places I want to try. High on my list right now are Press Club and Hellenic Republic.
