Where to take my grandmother in South Beach?

mordenti Oct 23, 2010 11:14 AM

My dear grandmother is coming to visit and I can't think of a good place to go for dinner on Sunday evening. Nothing fancy, she is a big fan of the olive garden and Wolfies. I just need somewhere that won't require a lot of walking, and not feel completely out of place for the elderly. Something nearby 15th Street and Lincoln would be ideal. But of course we can get in the car and head somewhere, too. Im just trying to keep the visit local. Thanks for any suggestions at all.

Joe Allen might be a decent pick. They have classic food and the ambience is good for families, younger and older folks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try JA next time she is in town. She wanted a Pastrami Sandwich and pickles, so we went to Jerry's Deli. It was exactly what she wanted.
