Where can you get them in San Diego? Northgate? La Tiendita?

  1. La Tiendita has some small skulls at the check out.

    1. Did you try calling those places? Don't know where to buy, but you can make your own if so inclined. I saw molds at one of the museums in Balboa Park, Museum of Man I think and they have classes at Vintage Religion and Back From Tomboctou.

I think Back From Tomboctou also had them at Adams Avenue Farmer's Market last week.

      2. I have gotten in them in the past at Bazaar del Mundo. They also sell the kits. There is also a new store on Kettner in Little Italy called Carta Alexia that sells the kits and holds clases (a big one this weekend). I think I saw them already made there.

          Thanks--will check it out.

        2. Casa Artelexia is having the last sugar skull class on the 26th (have been going on Since Sept 14- mental note for next year). They just cancelled the Day of the Dead Altar Workshop for today.

It looks great! Their last class is Tuesday at 630 but I won't be able to do that. I think I will just stop by later this week and check out the skull selection. Thanks!

          2. Many of the SDPL branches have free classes on making your own
