Garlic N Lemons

mabelm4050 Oct 23, 2010 04:55 AM

Tried this place for the first time earlier in the week and absolutely loved my sandwich. I had the spicy chicken schawarma. Good quality chicken, fresh veggies, lot of flavorful sauce. Best lunch I have had all year. I thought about for the rest of the day, for the rest of the week! Folks running the place were very nice, restaurant (tiny) appeared quite clean. Can't wait to go back!

The spicy chicken shwarma is my favorite, but I haven't had anything there I haven't liked.

They've been running a cheaper sandwich they call a shawafel - I think. It's meat of your choice with a crushed falafel ball rolled up. Very good. Everything there is good.

I asked. The family is originally from Armenia. The parents moved to Lebanon.

Glad you like it --- this is probably the new restaurant that I'm most excited about since it seems to absolutely top its category and is open very late.

I agree that the spicy chicken shwarma is outstanding.
Also, if you like garlic, their garlic yogurt sauce is a must order item!
