4 girls-1 weekend....

So we are in our early 30's and looking for great dinner suggestions..
Awesome atmosphere, not touristy but a cool scene.
Great food of course!
Last time we had great meals at L'Esquina, Freeman's,

    Minetta Tavern might be nice.

Stanton Social on the LES sleek scene, tasty small plates. Otherwise, how about Yerba Buena for pan-Latin.

2nd Yerba Buena. Try the Perry street location. Also try, Commerce and Mayhuel

We are staying midtown, but will likely want to go further downtown, soho, village..
We love small plates, great cocktails, good food but not crazy expensive...
I mentioned L'Esquina and Freemans because that's the type of place I'm looking for..
        Any suggestions are welcome!

peels is the new freemans restaurant...id recommend going there for drinks but not for dinner...beautiful space...food is meh.

tia pol or txikito or el quinto pino are my new favorite restaurants...all do tapas very well. all are fun and lively.

peasant, public, perilla, blue ribbon bakery, market table, red cat all come to mind as other ideas. not a huge fan of the food at these places (except for perilla) but they all have lively dinner scenes.

I've heard (though haven't yet experienced 1st hand) that brunch at Peels is great!
